Pixels of Ainsel
Hello :) My name is Ain, pronounced like "rain",
and this is where you can find the things I do.
...which is a bunch of different stuff.
I got eggs in a few different baskets.
Please contact me via any of the options provided if you're interested in work. :]

[email protected] is my email for business enquiries/private commissions.
Art

I do art sometimes.
Been drawing since I was 5, and have a bachelor's degree in animation.

I don't draw as much as I used to, but I do still enjoy my illustrations and characters.
My Instagram and Tumblr
are where you can find my stuff. :)
I occassionally do commissions.
They are currently closed.
Uhhh
Sorry I haven't quite set this up yet,
please come back later :')
Recurring Characters
These will perhaps one day be part of a comic. Possibly. Maybe.

YouTube Captions
I offer professional captioning services for YouTube videos
and quite enjoy doing it, actually.
If you're interested,
shoot me an email. :)
Here is an example
of a scripted video:
And here is an example
of a non-scripted video:
Captioning Terms of Service
I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason. These terms are binding and by choosing to commission me, whether by email, messaging on social media or any written form, you have agreed to all terms stated, including if you haven’t read them in full.Additionally, harassment will not be tolerated. Improper treatment or invasion of privacy are grounds for me to refuse doing business with you.◆ GENERALYou can either send me copies of your videos for me to download, or give me access to a YouTube channel with a Captioner role.Without the Captioner roll, I will need to upload my copy of the video to my own private YouTube account for testing purposes. Being assigned as a captioner on your channel is a far more streamlined process for me - however, I understand being hesitant about allowing a stranger access. I'm willing to be flexible.◆ VIDEO TYPES
My process for captioning differs depending on the type of video I'm working with.Non-scripted video: Where the speaking audio is entirely improvised, i.e. a Let's Play. You send me the finished video and I write and time Captions from scratch.Semi-scripted video: For if you have a script but mostly went off of it. You send me a video with, at the very least, finalised voice audio, along with the script for your video. Even if the it's mostly unused, I like to have a copy so I can make an outline.
If you take time to cut any bits that didn't make it into the final recording, you'll be charged less. The exact amount will be determined per project.Scripted video: Where the speaking audio is read from a script, with minimal improvisation. Same as before, you send me a copy so I have an outline and can formate from there.
It's fine if the audio itself is not verbatim, as long as it's generally 80% on-script.
With this, you can send me parts of the video as you finish them as long as the audio will not change later. If it does, you'll be charged extra for any changes needed. The exact amount will be determined as the changes are made.↪ You can send me the script in whatever way you feel comfortable. In the past, I've worked on a Google Doc shared with my client so they can see my process at any time. We can talk about what works best for you!◆ PRICING
As a general rule, I charge "X amount per minute" of the video I'm captioning, depending on the type of script. All prices are in USD.Scripted video: $3 per minute.Semi-scripted video: $5 per minute.Non-scripted video: $15 per minute, plus an additional $10 per extra speaker. The final price for any video can vary, depending on the process we work out between each other. But these are my base charges.
Under construction
Currently I only sell premades on my Dealer's Den Store,
however I am slowly making my way into commissions. At the moment I only have my Fursuit Commissions ToS on this website.
I will update with a full, dedicated page once interest is there.
AinselPixel Fursuits

While I can sew, I'm still a "baby" maker and have a lot to learn.
But I am very much enjoying myself while doing so.
At this time, I am NOT accepting Quotes.
Feel free to peruse my ToS if you're so inclined, though.
I'm currently working on my first 。*☆ commission ☆*。
which is a fullbody suit named Lupe.
His owner has made an Instagram
in preparation for his debut. :)
I'm considering creating designs for suits,
and offering them up for people to purchase as commissions.
Something like this →

This would be a good solution for my more ambitious projects, as it would offer me a little more financial security in sourcing materials.
I'm in the process of moving my store
from Dealer's Den to Fur Forge.I'll be sure to link it when it's ready. :)

Fursuit Terms of Service
I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason. These terms are binding and by choosing to commission me, whether by email, messaging on social media or any written form, you have agreed to all terms stated, including if you haven’t read them in full.1. GENERALa. A reference sheet of your character must be provided.
I require at least a fullbody view of the front and back. Even if it's only for a partial, or a mini-partial. This allows me to have a better idea of your character, and makes it easier to design the suit accurately!
i. I understand that not everyone is an artist. I was there once, too. But because fursuits are such a time-consuming process I can't rely on a written description. However, I'd be happy to provide you with a reference sheet as a digital art commission! We will discuss prices should this be decided. Keep in mind my Digital Art ToS will apply.b. I do not accept orders from minors.
Specifically, those who are under 18 years of age.
i. This is because it against the user terms of agreement in Stripe. I understand that minors could possibly use their parent/guardians’ account with permission, but I do not want to run the risk of being lied to and landing in hot water.
ii. It is also far more likely that a minor will quickly outgrow a costume than an adult.c. Please do not ask me to imitate the style of another maker.
You are commissioning me for my style.
i. I'm happy to make suits in various general styles, such as toony, cute, edgy, spooky, etc. But not styles of specific makers.
ii. Depending on the maker, this could also be seen as plagiarism or copyright infringement.d. Speaking of, I will not make fursuits of trademarked/copyrighted characters.
Such as Sonic, or Judy Hopps. It’s fine if it’s a character you yourself have trademarked, but not characters that belong to others.e. My creations are made in a home with a short-haired cat and dog.
i. While I keep them away from my workspace, I cannot 100% guarantee that my products are risk-free due to the nature of animal hair and allergens. Please buy at your own discretion, and exercise caution if you have pet allergies.
ii. I am not liable if my products cause allergic reactions due to pet hair.f. I do not accept deadlines.
While I will try my best to give a rough estimate as to when I will begin your suit and how long it will take, I do not do rush jobs. This is because I want to make sure each suit is given the time it deserves.
i. There may be some times I accept a suit made for a specific convention, but this is not common.
ii. If the suit is a gift for someone, and you would like it to be finished or delivered to them in time for their birthday, I require at least 6 months warning in advance, and even then I make no guarantees. I will try my best, but as stated previously, deadlines and I do not get along.g. Please keep in mind that I am a person!
All my products are hand-made, and I am a human behind a computer (Or fursuit head). Harassment and improper treatment will not be tolerated. I may occasionally make mistakes in my crafts, but that does not beget harassment.2. QUOTESAt this point in time, I accept quote requests! I plan to go through any requests I receive about once a month.a. Sending in a quote is NOT the same as applying for a commission.
This is so I can properly calculate the full price of your suit, should I choose to do so. That said, a quote that is accepted will put you further up on my priority list when I am accepting commissions, should you decide to go through with commissioning me.b. While I don’t require a reference sheet specifically for a quote, I do need at least a fullbody image of some kind. If one is not attached to your quote request, it will be discarded.3. PAYMENTa. I only accept payments through Stripe.
PayPal used to be my only accepted method, but due to the their poor treatment of artists and chargeback policies I made the switch to Stripe. It works very similarly to PayPal, in that it is fast, secure, and you don't need to make an account in order to make a payment (I highly recommend using it instead of PayPal if you're an artist!).b. I require a 30% non-refundable deposit before beginning the commission.
i. This is to cover the cost of materials and is non-negotiable.
ii. I will send you an initial invoice for the 30% non-refundable deposit, and a second invoice for the other 70%. A third invoice will be sent for shipping expenses once the suit is complete.c. Payment plans are available!
With payment plans, after the initial 30% deposit I usually like deposits of $200 per month – However! The specific details of payment plans can vary, and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. We can discuss what works for you.
i. Please keep in mind it is up to your discretion to pay the deposits. If I send you an invoice for a deposit, and you don’t pay it, I will not continue work on your commission until it is paid.4. REFUNDSa. Refunds are given up to the amount of work completed.
i. For example: If work never began, you receive a refund minus the initial 30% deposit. But if I have completed the paws, and not the rest of the suit, I will refund you for everything minus the paws and 30% deposit. Again, the exact details vary, but this is generally what can be expected.
ii. If you choose to cancel your commission and ask for a refund, I can either ship what has been made to you at your expense, or finish the fursuit and sell it as a premade. Changes will be made to distinguish it from your character.5. CREATION AND CONTACTa. Updates on the progress of your suit will be given depending on the nature of payment.
If everything is paid up-front I'll strive for an update about once a week. On a payment plan, I tend to work on an as-paid basis. I'll give you WIP photos on your suit as the plan covers the creation progress.b. The suit can be made anonymously at your request. However, I would still like to feature it on my website and social media as part of my portfolio. If it is meant to be a surprise or gift, please let me know when you apply for the commission.c. If life matters outside of work get in the way of making your suit, I will strive to update you on this as soon as I can. But please respect my privacy and do not press for personal details I don't feel comfortable sharing.d. Feel free to ask for WIPs, including views of specific parts! However, please do not ask me for WIPs if I have already given you an update within the last 24 hours. Asking for a WIP once a week or every few days is fine, but several times a day is not. I understand that getting a suit is very exciting, but it's a matter of personal boundaries.e. The purpose of WIP photos is to inform you of what your suit currently looks like. I will explicitly ask for your approval on some parts, but I also expect that you may catch mistakes on my end - Understandable, that's what WIPs are for! I'll make these revisions as I go, as part of the creation process.f. I will charge a fee for every major change made that is not on the reference sheet.
For example, different body markings, different snout shape, etc.g. If you decide you want a change that would increase the overall price of the suit (e.g., want an extra pair of wings, upgrade from mini partial to 3/4 partial, etc.), you must pay the difference in price range.
This can be paid upfront, in a payment plan, or added to a pre-existing plan.h. If I ask for your approval on a specific part of your suit, I will not progress it until I receive a response.
This is so I do not potentially waste time.
i. If you do not respond within 30 days, I will give you a 30 day warning to respond before your commission is cancelled.
ii. If you do not respond within the 30 day warning, a refund will not be issued, and I have the right to alter the design and sell it as a premade suit.i. I will not continue the suit if you decide you want a completely different character.
As in, I will not consider it as though I'm working on the same commission.
i. This includes wanting a whole different species, or entirely different markings and head shape after I have completed them.
ii. I will consider it a new commission, and it will need to be approved as though we're starting from square 1.
iii. If you do not want me to continue work on the character that is already approved, a refund will be issued as per the refund policy specified in Part 4.6. SHIPPINGa. Once the suit is complete, I will weigh it and calculate an approximate shipping cost from that. If you would like to pay for priority shipping, or any other kind of specific service please let me know.b. I do ship items outside Australia, though the cost is pricey. Please let me know if you are outside Australia when you apply for a commission slot, or at the very least during the process before your suit is finished.
If you let me know where you are, I can calculate approximate shipping and bill you based on that.
Warranty
Upon recieving your Ain's Art Stop Fursuit, I will fix any major error for free within 30 days of arrival, including shipping. These include incorrect measurements, broken seams, or missing features.
Photo evidence must be provided.
After these initial repairs, fixing incorrect measurements is free, but any other errors spotted on receiving the repaired suit will require a fee and shipping paid by you, and must be requested within 30 days of arrival.
I am not liable for damage or losses caused by shipping, as I have absolutely
no control over the process once the suit has been given to the shipping company.
Terms of Service
Personal Use.
These commissions are for personal use. I charge much higher for freelance artwork done for businesses, because that's an entirely different kind of job.
a. These artworks are not meant to go on merchandise, or to represent a business. However, you are still free to make this artwork your banner art or profile picture for a non-business social media account, as long as you give proper credit!
b. If you'd like to hire me for freelance work, contact me via any of the options in the "Contact" section of this website, and we'll talk shop!1. I have the right to use the artwork(s) I have created however I see fit.
a. The most I will do with original works (original characters / fan characters) will be to repost them onto other art websites UNLESS the commissioner wishes for the commission to be private.
b. I have the right to sell fan art if commissioned.
E.g. If you commission me to draw just Mario doing Mario stuff, I have the right to sell it as a print or other merchandise item. Conversely, if you have Mario with a fan character or original character, I will not sell it as a merchandise item.2. You are allowed to repost commissions / gift art / art trades as long as you give proper credit.
a. Proper credit entails a link to my user profile if the artwork is posted on a website I am on, or a link to the front page of this website if I am not.
b. You may not post the artwork for a profit.
E.g. If you commission me to draw Mario for you and post it up on Twitter, you would tag me as @ainsArt because I'm on there. If you posted it up to Weasyl, you would say it was drawn by me and post a link to this website, because I'm not on there. You may not sell that Mario picture for a profit.3. Do not ask me to draw in different styles. You are commissioning me for my style, whether it be colouring style or drawing style.4. Use the commission template when ordering normal commissions. It helps me stay organized.
a. You do not need to do this for YCHs, sales, or specials unless stated otherwise.5. The ETA's are an estimate.
a. While I have estimated my ETA's to the most accurate of my ability, there still may be times where I have difficulty completing an artwork within the allotted time.
b. Rest assured if I do encounter complications during completion of the artwork, I will inform you of the situation. I give updates on the progress of commissions anyway, so this is par for the course.
c. I'll issue a refund if the artwork takes more than 2x the ETA - for more info on that, see part 9.6. If you wish to order a private commission (Where you do not want me to post it up anywhere)
Please send me an email to my work email: [email protected]7. Regarding redraws/revisions.
a. Please know that since I have to wait for your ok, the artwork will likely be completed on the later side of the ETA.
b. If I exceed the ETA because I do not receive a response from you on an update, and not because of complications on my behalf, the 2x ETA refund becomes null and void.
c. I will redraw a complete sketch only once. Let’s say you don't like the pose/idea and you want something else in this stage. This is fine but you must say so in the SKETCH PHASE.
d. I will do 3 minor tweaks before a fee will be sent out for every extra change added (Please look under the commission template example for why).8. Payment plans can only be offered on orders of over $100 US, and you are admitting to pay for the tax on each payment.
Not the Paypal tax, I will be paying that - the tax that I have to put aside to pay for taxes.
a. We will speak about how often you will be willing to pay. Depending on the price, you can pay half for smaller orders or in quarters on larger ones.
b. I will show you a sketch WIP / line art WIP until the rest of the payment has been made. Depending on the order, it can be after the commission is finished or right after it is finished.9. The refund will be given up to the amount of work I had started.
So, if I never started your commission, you can get a full refund. If I have started your commission and have gotten to the line art phase, I will refund you up to the line art phase.Payment
I mostly only work with Stripe for payments. I do know that not everyone has access to Stripe (Minors, for example), so I will take DeviantArt Points (See point a.), or snail mail/cash order over the mail (See point b.).
a. With DeviantArt points, your commission will be completed once the process of Points-to-money has been completed. This process currently takes about 14 days. This is due to people sending artists money, then taking the points right back after their commissions have been complete and it takes that long to process the payments to PayPal. So with this option, you will have to wait a small while to get your commission.
b. I only offer this if I can truly trust the person, because it is very possible to lose money over the mail. Mistakes happen. Unfortunately, if this is the case, I am sorry but I will not do your commission for free. Because this risk is involved, I only offer this service to very certain buyers.
